I ended up having to symlink some header files from /usr/lib64/opengl/xorg-x11/
include/ to /usr/include/GL/
In fact I symlinked them all. Oddly enough I didn't see anything ppc-specific
in the headers to not make this a glaring problem on other systems. This is a
relatively clean install ( no earlier X at all ), running Gentoo.
