Random GPU hangs are really hard to fix.
Can you reproduce the problem with
export RADV_DEBUG=zerovram,nodcc,nohiz,nofastclears ?
Also, LLVM 7 is quite old, I would recommend to upgrade, although VM faults are
probably unrelated to LLVM.
