I think this is a bug with mesa.
When playing No Mans Sky with the new Proton Engine (custom version of Wine)
with steam no 3d rendering shows up, just the menus and any hud markers (which
are 2d).
I would have guessed this is a bug with Proton but it also happens on a random
Windows laptop of mine.
My guess is it has some thing to do with No Man's Skies strick support of only
OpenGL 4.5. But as far as I can find you do support OpenGL 4.5.
