Looking at my, somehow limited, coding skills, I think that my role would be defined better as an active android-x86 debugging contributor/build tester, with experience in Android Build System .mk makefiles. If I had to provide technical advise about features strategy/evolution, or develop code from scratch, I would find myself in a very difficult position, as I am not exactly that kind of expert. There are other developers that would fit better for the role of contact points, even better if actually involved in AOSP related development/testing.
