I don't think so -- the driver can take a normal error path when asked to create an image, right? So, if you write some more commit message on this one, the series will get my r-b. Maybe: "This will allow X with Glamor to create DRM images for 16bpp displays. No separate enable bit is used. The extension doesn't guarantee that an image can be created with the given format, it just allows the request to be expressed."
