What steps will reproduce the problem?
Building memcached 1.4.23 and running the testsuite
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
These are the last lines from the testsuite:
ok 46 - binary_prepend
ok 47 - binary_prependq
Timeout.. killing the process
Assertion failed: nr != 0, file testapp.c, line 725
Makefile:1482: recipe for target 'test' failed

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.23, Solaris 10 Sparc with Sun Studio 12
