Hi,

Which VKB would you want to use?

For the Netbook version, there is a scim-panel-vkb-gtk, and you could use it
directly.

If you wan to use meego-im-uiserver, then you should install many packages
related to meegotouch-inputmethodkeyboard, and then make sure the env. var.
(QT_IM_MODULE) be set to "MInputContext", and then you could invoke it in the
Qt based applications. For the gtk based applications you should also install
the meegotouch-inputmethodbridges package, and make sure the "GTK_IM_MODULE" be
set as "meego-im".

After installed, you could test it in a terminal like this:
meego-im-uiserver &
export QT_IM_MODULE=MInputContext
export GTK_IM_MODULE=meego-im
./test-applications

 Best Regards,

Hi,
I am trying to invoke VKB in Netbook UX (MeeGo 1.2), but not able to see.

On MeeGo 1.1 Handset UX i was doing exporting some DBus related variable and
was able to invoke the VKB.

Can some share the info for 1.2 Netbook UX.

Thanks and Regards,
Kalinga
