Very nice,

I have a simplification, instead of manipulating the image to change
exltlinux.conf just
add a line to the kickstart in the %post section like this :

sed -i -e 's/quiet//' /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf

I also suggest adding the following packages to the kickstart :

openssh
openssh-clients
openssh-server
eat-device

which would make it easy to ssh into the image. You can get the host key from
the eat-host package.

Sounds very useful. I look forward to trying it out!
