Very nice, I have a simplification, instead of manipulating the image to change exltlinux.conf just add a line to the kickstart in the %post section like this :
sed -i -e 's/quiet//' /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf I also suggest adding the following packages to the kickstart : openssh openssh-clients openssh-server eat-device which would make it easy to ssh into the image. You can get the host key from the eat-host package. ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of ext Jeremiah Foster [[email protected]] Sent: Friday, March 25, 2011 7:04 PM To: Palande Ameya (Nokia-MS/Helsinki) Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [MeeGo-dev] MeeGo qemu minimal console image howto On Fri, Mar 25, 2011 at 2:51 PM, Ameya Palande <[email protected]> wrote: > On 03/24/2011 04:16 PM, ext Jeremiah Foster wrote: >> On Wed, Mar 23, 2011 at 6:07 PM, Ameya Palande<[email protected]> >>> I have created a small howto for creating a minimal MeeGo Qemu console >>> image. >>> >>> http://wiki.meego.com/Minimal_image >>> >>> Comments/Suggestions/Contributions are welcome! >> >> Thanks for doing this! >> >> A couple questions the link on the wiki goes to the repository of >> MeeGo package patterns on Gitorious but I don't seem >> meego-minimal-console there. > > My intention is to create such a pattern! > >> The meego-minimal that is there has X, is >> that the one you're using? > > I used core-ia32-base-nodocs as my base kickstart file. > >> Secondly, what is the goal?
