The *hardware* is not open source, and while I agree that high-level roadmaps 
for software development should be made available to the community, on a 
regular basis, that does not ipso facto extend to hardware.

It's a trickier issue than you appear ready to acknowledge.

As for Quim Gil, you also seem to be confusing his role.  He is a hard-working 
advocate for open source in general and MeeGo in particular, but there are 
others more responsible for the actions you seek.

This is not the best channel for changing Nokia hardware policy.  Surely you 
can find better ones to target.

The rest I won't dispute.
