well if you are familiar with Linux Power Management..... you already
know the answer to the power management part of your question...
MeeGo 1.2 uses Linux power management very aggressively and everywhere.
Thermal management .. DMSE has a plugin architecture for that, but other
options are also being considered.
Thermal management tends to be very very dependent on the exact physical
design of a device, what your cooling is like, what kind
of sensors you have, what kind of restrictions you may have as a result
(ranging from almost nothing, somewhat similar to a laptop, to needing
extremely aggressive thermal management).
Your hardware vendor (Intel) can help you with that, but in the end it
comes down to a per device analysis etc. Please contact your Intel
representative for such assistance.
