What Andrew means is that the MeeGo Conference is an activity
coordinated by the Community Office, and the default channel of
communication of this team is http://forum.meego.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5

There are several threads about the MeeGo Conference there already and
until today nobody had questioned that. meego-dev is about platform
development so definitely it doesn't look the right place to have all
the conference planning discussions.

If you have better alternatives please raise them up.

What is missing is you starting that discussion since you are the
coordinator of the conference content. :)

Yes, as explained at http://forum.meego.com/showthread.php?t=95

PS: you can subscribe to forum threads and get an email whenever there
are updates. Not perfect but useful if you don't want to check the forum
regularly.
