As I'm sure I won't be the only one having issues and questions.. just forked off a new thread.
I tried doing this in both qemu and kvm. I can mount the .img file (iso9660 it seems ) but when I try to boot it, I get the nice pretty grub screen, so it gets that far. Then whether I try to boot or install the result is the same: I get a a few Buffer I/O errors.. SQUASHFS error. Is the image designed to not work in a VM? fyi: screenshot: http://picpaste.com/pics/meego.1274896219.png. I was going to file a bug.. but I'm not sure where images not working would fit in. -- Samir 2010/5/26 Glen Gray <[email protected]>: > Yes, that's where I got mine. > > On 26 May 2010, at 18:31, Marcin Sołtysiak wrote: > >> 2010/5/26 Glen Gray <[email protected]>: >>> I believe it's mirrored at mirrors.kernel.org. >>> >>> >>> On 26 May 2010, at 18:17, Andrea Grandi wrote: >>> >>>> Hi, >>>> >>>> On 26 May 2010 18:20, Sousou, Imad <[email protected]> wrote: >>>>> This is also on my MeeGo blog: >>>>> http://meego.com/community/blogs/imad/2010/meego-v1.0-core-software-platform-netbook-user-experience-project-release >>>> >>>> it's almost impossible to download it at the moment.
