Hi Sivan
MeeGo is a Linux OS, with a full stack from the middleware to applications. It
doesn't make sense to make a MeeGo build for Symbian -- it's the same thing as
asking for a Linux build for Windows.
Making a MeeGo build that would run on the N8 hardware, completely replacing
the existing Symbian^3 that is there, that's a separate thing. It's possible,
depending on what hardware that uses and whether it is possible to flash it. (I
don't know the answers to that).
Note, however, that the N8 does not meet the minimum requirements for a MeeGo
handheld device that were published some time ago. At least, it doesn't have
OpenGL ES capable screen support (it has OpenVG).
As for a Symbian^3 build for the N900, you have to take that up with the
Symbian Foundation. We don't have any power of influencing that here in the
MeeGo mailing lists.
