I installed from my original USB image again (after your email). And changed the inittab to read /usr/sbin/meego-dm instead of moblin-dm But there is no /usr/sbin/meego-dm on this installation (there is a /usr/sbin/moblin-dm though) I have used the provided IVI 1.0 .ks file to build the final image
Would this file come in when I do "yum update"? Here is how my .ks file looks like: repo --name=core-1.0 --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/0.9/0.9.80.2.20100512.1/core/repos/ia32/os/ repo --name=extra-1.0 --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/0.9/0.9.80.2.20100512.1/extra/repos/ia32/os/ repo --name=ivi-1.0 --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/0.9/0.9.80.2.20100512.1/ivi/repos/ia32/os/ # repo --name=core-devel --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/devel/trunk/repo/ia32/os/ # repo --name=extra-devel --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/devel/trunk/repo/ia32/os/ # repo --name=ivi-devel --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/devel/trunk/repo/ia32/os/ # repo --name=core-0.9 --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/trunk/0.9.80.1.20100330.1/core/repos/ia32/os/ # repo --name=extra-0.9 --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/trunk/0.9.80.1.20100330.1/extra/ia32/os/ # repo --name=ivi-0.9 --baseurl=http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/trunk/0.9.80.1.20100330.1/ivi/ia32/os/ %packages @MeeGo Core @IVI Support @X for IVI @MeeGo Base @MeeGo X Window System @XFCE @Basic Hardware Support @Development Tools kernel-ivi xorg-x11-server-Xorg-setuid gnome-icon-theme nodoka-filesystem gnome-python2-canvas gvfs-obexftp gnome-icon-theme carrick cglaunch -hfp xorg-x11-drv-evtouch xorg-x11-drv-intel -cedevicemanager -odccm bluez-gnome obexd bluez-alsa qt qt-x11 firefox meego-repos # needed for unsupported anaconda -t backdoor installation they do newt-python wget openssh-server openssh-client rsync screen make gcc gcc-c++ vim yum gdb -mesa-iegd-libGL -mesa-iegd-dri-driver -xorg-x11-drv-iegd %end Thanks, Adhyas _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev
