There's actually work ongoing with vBulletin with Reggie (previous
talk.maemo.org and internettablettalk maintainer) doing the work.

We really want the site to be well designed from the start, with full single
sign on. That slows things a bit in the beginning, but makes life easier in the
long run.
We are experiencing the pain of multiple non-related services on maemo.org and
I really want meego.com to avoid the traps we have run in there.

But thank you for the offer, need to look at the site for good ideas.

I have seen the Uservoice forum put to quite good use with the Magento
opensource project - http://magento.uservoice.com/ and thought it might
be worth suggesting as a quick and easy way to get community feedback
that is a bit more user-friendly than a mailing list.

If it's not appropriate to use a commercial hosted solution like
Uservoice for some reason, it is definitely worth looking at for ideas
for any future meego.com forum.

Cheers,
Ross.
