The MUSE organization is a non-profit, independent user group. For over 24 years, MUSE has offered extensive networking, educational, and training opportunities to thousands of MEDITECH users. MUSE continues to grow, and, as such, requires a skilled person to join its team. Position: Information Coordinator The MUSE Information Coordinator is a key member of the MUSE organization's team. Reporting to the MUSE Board and Executive Director, the Information Coordinator will work independently on various and numerous projects to ensure that MUSE remains professional, valued, progressive, and responsive. Sample duties are listed below: General duties: * Develop systems to collect, track, and report various statistical and trend information including, but not limited to, membership demographics and levels, event evaluations, event attendance, trends, etc. * Offer educational instruction to the MUSE membership regarding MUSE website routines and features. * Monitor and manage the MUSE membership databases. * Maintain the MUSE website to ensure that the information is accurate, timely, and informative. Ensure that all event and online registration routines are setup and maintained. * Monitor and manage the MUSE website forums, list servers, libraries, and other postings. * Manage electronic announcements and newsletters. * Manage MUSE website advertising. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Excellent organizational and communication skills * HTML skills; web maintenance experience * Experience working with non-profit organizations is an asset * Prior MUSE activity is an asset Notes: * This position is contract based. * Some travel is required. The Information Coordinator will attend various conferences, Board meetings, and other related events. * Relocation is not required.
