Hi, Tara. Very easy switch and didn't take long at all. Some lessons learned here. Meditech can run a utility to "purge" the Medispan data. However, they are breaking the ties to things. The allergies still reside on all the drugs just don't do anything because they are purged in other places. The only other thing that we noticed is that the 2-letter ROUTE mnemonics are different. Medispan used IN for Inhalation while that it In vitro in FirstData.
We really have not had any issues and are happy with FirstDataBank. We made the move last fall for the new allergy model.
