We do. The data is stored on the local drives on 2 PC workstations in
BloodBank. They didn't want the data stored on a network drive just in case the
network and Meditech goes down at the same time. The info is accessed locally
using Internet Explorer on the workstations.

I don't think they've used it extensively since neither our Meditech nor our
network has gone down long enough to require their usage. It's there more for
"just in case"......

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] BBK Backup Client

How many sites with Meditech's BBK are utilizing the BBK Backup Client?
If not using the Backup Client, how is information accessed during downtime and
what led to your decision not to use it?
If using it, where is the PC located that is storing the information?
How is that PC accessed during system downtime?
How frequently (times/year) is the Backup Client accessed?

Thanks for the information,
Paul
