Clarification: I can make trees in Wikipedia. It's the installation that seems insurmountable.

I've downloaded all the templates from Wikipedia but I'm getting Lua errors that are a bit outside my understanding. I'm wondering if it's worth my time. Is there a trick to it? Are there tutorials?
