On my site if for example I have a script that calls for
{{Portal:Mycrap}}
the resulting search for the items is sent to the server as
{{Template:Portal:Mycrap}}
rather than just selecting the doccument Portal:Mycrap
[[Portal:Mycrap]] does as it should & calls the correct document.
This is usually caused by some template that I have copied from
Wikipedia. I have checked the original template scripts that I have
downloaded against those installed on my site & they are exactly the
same. I have examine the calls issued within, Wikipedia and they seem to
be exactly the same, except Wikipedia does not add the Template: portion
to the document search. Any idea how to duplicate the Wikipedia
performance on my site.
