Use "nohup {command} &" . Any output will be written to nohup.out in the
pwd.

Im running the lsearchd daemon by just running .lsearchd in the terminal
- and it all works.
But when I close that window, it stops.
How did I run it in silent mode, or as background, or some way that is
not dependent on my window staying open?
