When it says public/5/5d/Panneau_004.jpg, public means the image folder,
so it'll be images/5/5d/Panneau_004.jpg The 5/5d/ part comes from having
$wgHashedUploadDirectory = true; You may want to try first with it set
to false.
Your problem with the 5 folder may be that it was created by the apache
user.
