CHANGES AND NEW FEATURES MDAEMON SERVER * [27782] VBR has been deprecated and removed. * [28621] MDaemon logs the From header address when rejecting a message because it does not match AUTH credentials. * [28655] A new SSL/TLS option has been added: "Automatically detect and activate newer certificates". When enabled, MDaemon will check at startup and during its daily maintenance for newer versions of each active certificate for MDaemon, Webmail, and Remote Administration. If another certificate on the system expires later, is for the same hostname, and includes all alternative hostnames, MDaemon will automatically switch to it and restart the affected servers. This option is enabled by default. * [10357] A new "Send As Permissions" screen has been added at Security | Security Manager | Sender Authentication that lets you configure what other email addresses accounts are allowed to send mail as when the credential matching requirements on the SMTP Authentication screen are enabled. Normally (when not exempt), accounts can only send mail from their own email address or aliases. A wildcard address like *@example.com can be used for the account to set addresses that all accounts in the domain can send as. Wildcards can also be used in the send as addresses to allow an account to send as any address that matches the pattern. * [28006] The minimum length of strong passwords can now be set higher than 15 if non-reversible password encryption is enabled. * [28117] Added legend to the Location Screening dialog that explains what the symbols mean. * [27967] The Automatic Gateway Creation screen is not displayed in the GUI if it's not being used. * [25423] Updated DMARC Public suffix file URL to the latest recommended URL. * [28777] The "Block except SMTP, disable authentication" label on the Location Screening dialog has been changed to "Prevent authentication".
