The point of the lengthy post is that often there is a discrepancy in
the quality of older material not intitally released as CD's using Cyndi
Lauper and The Eagles for example-especially The Eagles, whose new box
set is a vast improvement over their initial CD reissues.
For newer material like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, which
were also cited as examples, this isn't an issue because everything was
digital each step of the way to begin with (DDD as opposed to AAD or
AAD).
