Can't do that...I don't know anything about Linux.
Have to stick with what I know, since I have precious
little time to play as it is.

I'm not adverse to spending $50 on software. I won't
spend much more that that, because I don't expect to
use it too ofter - I have a MD recorder you know.

You're probably right. Wish I could upgrade. Just
for info, how fast a machine would be needed?

Now that just rubs salt in the wound. My wife would
shoot be if I bought another computer. And I can't
really justify it, since I use it primarily for
cataloguing baseball cards, and it's perfectly fine
for that.
