They are both good mikes AFAIK, the 907 will be better in quite settings
like  nature recordings becaues the T mike will pick up the ticking
sound of the MD recorder unless you use an extension cord.  On the other
hand, the T mike is handier for fast set up and for music, the ticking
of the recorder will not be heard because the record level will not be
set as high as it is for nature studies.    OF course you can make one
for about $10 US.  I am sure parts are available in NZ.
