Hi Sandy, We're in the process of migrating from an old, in-house system (written by me, that only runs on PPC Macs) to Artifax Event (http://www.artifax.net/event). Well worth a look. It's used by a number of museums around the world, including the National Gallery (London) and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
