If there communication skills are excellent then there may not be a need for a face to face. * * * *Business Need* ** - Provide a description of the business and functional needs that this SOW is to address - Describe any pertinent history, e.g. previous and future phases of a project - Include key portions of the Business Case or Project Definition such as intentions/values of the desired solution, constraints on the desired solution, and context regarding the expectations or boundaries of the work to be performed - Client* **has implemented the Cognos 8.4.1 Budget and planning system. The Client is in the middle of its budgeting cycle and the System Administrator has resigned. We have a need to backfill this position until a replacement can be hired and transitioned into the position.*** * * *Description of Work to Be Performed and the Specific Skill Sets Needed: *Responsible for the architecture design, implementation and maintenance for the Cognos 8.4.1 budget and planning system, security maintenance for Cognos planning, planning administration, integration of PeopleSoft and planning data, and issue resolution related to Business Intelligence (BI) development and planning.. *List of Deliverables, e.g. what the consultant(s) will be expected to accomplish:* Responsible for keeping the Planning system up and running. This includes making sure all maintenance jobs are run each day, making any necessary changes to the infrastructure and supporting the planning functional team. *Plz Note:* *This is more of a System Administrator.
