*VOLUNTEER: Apply to be a Health Leads Spring Advocate*
Health Leads envisions a healthcare system that
addresses all patients' basic resource needs as a standard part of quality
care. We do this by working with providers who can "prescribe" resources
such as food, housing, and heating assistance - just as they do medication
- to their patients.
Health Leads Bay Area currently operates at Kaiser Permanente in Richmond
and West County Health Center in San Pablo.
As a Health Leads Advocate, you'll be interacting with clients one-on-one
and following up with them to ensure that their basic resource needs are
met. You'll be working alongside fellow Advocates as well as a Program
Manager who will train and support you in this work throughout the
semester.
