I'm trying to create a second database using the DBM GUI. The GUI is
running on Windows, but the database is on Solaris 10. The MaxDB version
is 7.6.
The problem I have is to do with creating the data volume. In the
Device/File box I specify the full path of the file:
/var/opt/sdb/data/MAXDB2/data/DISKD0001
The directory /var/opt/sdb/data/MAXDB2/data exists:
# ls -lR /var/opt/sdb/data/MAXDB2
/var/opt/sdb/data/MAXDB2:
total 4
drw-rw---- 2 sdb sdba 512 Sep 15 10:37 data
drwxr-x--- 2 sdb sdba 512 Sep 15 10:38 log
but the file does not.
