We see in this crisis how the defeat of working class struggle in different
places affect one another:

In Bahrain, one of the most inspiring Arab Spring movements occupied tge main
national square nonviolent in the hundreds of thousands,  until an invasion by
Saudi Arabia  - totally illegal under international law, but without much
protest from the rest of the world - crushed the Revolt in a country with an
enormous naval base hosting the US 7th fleet.

The impunity with which Saudi Arabia was ablevto Korean into Bahrain
undoubtedly emboldened them in their subsequent attack on Yemen. That Bahrain
is under control enables it to be used as a base for US attacks on Iran today.

The crushing of Palestinian resistance enables Israel to expand into Lebanon
and to attack Iran. The crushing of the Iranian proletariat allows Bahrain
among others to be attacked by Iran.

And do on. Of course all of this is predicated on keeping the US working class
out of power and blocking US left movements from changing the direction of that
country,  and the ability to portray the Islamic Republic government as a
danger - much easier than a working class led democracy would be to demonize  -
allows the US to bomb Iran.

Of course,  the opposite might also be true - success of working class
revolution in one place may emboldened, inspire and assist it in other places.
