Some of us evaluate Chavez more on his stand against undocumented immigrant workers, his refusal to welcome them and organize stronger unity of the farmworkers, his preaching of non-violence, and especially the overt anti-communism that he probably imbibed from Saul Alinsky and Fred Ross. These things made him a hero to the capitalist class, and now his personal behavior has unmade him,
