ADVERT World 250K Political Map (CD) This table was created by first regionalising the Crusty Vector data and then attributing this file using the Political Boundary layer of the latest version of the DCW (VMAP0). This resulted in a 129Mb vector file that consists of just under 183,000 individual regions fully attributed by "country" and "region". In addition 22,000 islands have been attributed by "name". The coverage includes the state boundaries of Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil and Australia as well as the outlines of the Great Lakes and the Caspian Sea. Numerous errors and omissions in the raw data have been corrected.
