I have recently come across my first major error using MapInfo and my own
tech support staff has not heard of it. My problem occurs when I am drawing
polygons using underlying layers to determine the boundaries. Using the snap
function and the cross hairs to determine the snap vertice point, after I
release the mouse button, the vertice snaps to a point to the right about 1/4
inch on the screen. No other layers are selectable. I have packed the table,
tried snapping using other layers and have closed down MapInfo, but to no
success. Has anybody else come across this problem and if so could you shed
some light on the subject.
