In most of our MapXsite applications we use DAO for accessing data in an MS-Access
database. We use DAO to do that. Sporadically, i.e. once a week, MapXsite returns the
following error (we use version 2.02 of MapXsite and Version 2.0 of miDAO.hbs and
Hahtsite):
"Error has occoured in: initDAO, Error Number -2146825235, Error Description: Too many
client tasks".
To solve the problem only stopping and restarting HahtSite helps (which has to be done
manually).
The initDAO function is part of miDAO.hbs. MapInfo support responds like that (very
helpful indeed):
"We've never seen this error before so were thinking it's a DAO problem and not a
MapXsite problem."
Maybe it's an miDAO.dll problem ... The mi stands for MapInfo, as far as I know ...
As when the error occours there is mostly only one instance running, so there are not
"too many clients" ...
Did anybody come across the problem ?
