I am currently using Spatial Anlysist in Arcview to process grid based infiormation and Mapinfo to produce the final maps after exporting the grids as tiff files and registering them. I have heard of vertical mapper as an add on for mapinfo to handle grid data and I would like to know more abouts its capabilities. Namely can Vertical Mapper do the following: 1) Process flow paths from topographic data 2) Process specific catchment areas 3) Process slopes (plan, profile, tangential) 4) Process DEM's for the above data 5) Enable overlaying and summation of indexed grid values to produce a resultant index grid. Any comments or suggestions please.
