Hi Jason You dont need mapbasic for that. All you have to do is change the MAPINFO.MNU file. 1: Open the MAPINFO.MNU file in Notepad 2: Find the Query Menu and the Find menu item 3: Move the \tCtrl+F/W^F/Mf/XCtrl+f part of the line from Find to Find selection 4: now you can use the <ctl> F key to find any selection The MAPINFO.MNU file before and after editing "(-", "&Find...\tCtrl+F/W^F/Mf/XCtrl+f" HelpMsg "Lokaliser og marker enkelte objekter eller adresser." calling 305, "Fin&d selection" HelpMsg "Vlg element/rkke og marker det udvalgte i alle vinduer." calling 306, "(-", "(-", "&Find..." HelpMsg "Lokaliser og marker enkelte objekter eller adresser." calling 305, "Fin&d selection \tCtrl+F/W^F/Mf/XCtrl+f" HelpMsg "Vlg element/rkke og marker det udvalgte i alle vinduer." calling 306, "(-", Peter Laulund National Survey and Cadastre, Denmark Jason Adam <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - 15-09-99 17:32:58 Til: "'MapInfo List'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> cc: (bcc: Peter Laulund/MI/KMS) Vedrrende: MI: MB Zoom To function...
Lister: Hopefully a simple one for a MB wiz... I have a user that's picking records from a browser then looking at them on his map. I want to add a simple button to the tool bar to represent the Query>Find Selection... menu item, but I can't think of the command line for that. Something like "Zoom To Selection"? Many Thanks in advance- Jason [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
