I'm wondering how hard (whether it is at all possible) it will be to put MG Session and Library Repository to one of the relational DB (eg. MySql, Postgres, ...) or perhaps to one of NoSQL Store (er. Redis, MongoDB). Maybe Repository should stay in Berkeley XML DB, but it should run in separate process, isolated from other MG server operations.
In this case multiple mgserver processes could access that kind of repository. How this change will impact performance, stability, XML operations, ... ? How this is done in MG Desktop, where Berkeley XML DB is not used and repository data is stored at disk? -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/MG-Scale-Out-isolating-MG-Repository-out-of-MG-server-process-tp5207766.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
