Last week I was given a QGIS Project with associated SHP files. I used a plugin called QConsolidate to make sure all the files were bundled.
I moved all the SHPs to the MapGuide Server and created an alias (unmanaged) - luckily I didn't have any databases to deal with... Then I had to re-create all the styles for each layer in the map. This was extremely time consuming. What would be cool, given the huge user-base in QGIS, would be to find a way to get QGIS projects into MapGuide. Either an import tool in Maestro or a plugin in QGIS (like the AutoCAD Map 3D - "Publish to Autodesk Infrastructure Map Server button") That would really tie the two products together. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/QGIS-to-MapGuide-tp5200389.html Sent from the MapGuide Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mapguide-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/mapguide-users
