Step in the right direction, would be nice if more transparency added to
the trace headers etc..
Trying to stop that group of India based 'Fix your Website'
spamvertizing using throwaway outlook/hotmail addresses is a pain.. Sure
they must be able to do better with outbound rate limiters of course..
but with no data on how they are sending, or from where .. it's a whack
a mole game with this 'too big to block'..
FYI, Google Groups spammers, understand Google was going to do something
about those, but now we see scammers using Google Calendar invites to
get people to call their 'WhatsApp' number.. Hard to block a service
this is well used for normal purposes, or apply filtering to a 5 word
invite that constantly changes.. But sure they can rate limit calendar
invites?
Be nice if we could get ANY information .. eg country of origin,
connecting IP Address,.. anything.. but the real problem is still at the
source.. and they have the money and AI to do it, correct?
AI generated spam is NOT as bad as obvious leakage..
