That isn't and never will be an alternative to forwarding, because it
requires to give the "someplace else" the credentials for the account you
are collecting mail from. This is unacceptable in MANY situations.

Someone claimed in a sibling thread that mail forwarding is "forging". What
you propose is no doubt an ACTUAL forging.

I would never use a mail provider that recommends such things to their
customers.
