I am trying MailMate (which I tried once a decade ago) with an eye to a
possible switch from Apple Mail — one of the reasons being problems moving
messages around in my work Exchange account that finally caused me to turn off
Rules in that app, leaving a lot of old messages not filed where I want them.
MailMate using Exchange's IMAP server seems to have no problem moving messages
manually, but when I try to use newly created rules to move old messages,
nothing happens. I have tried both of the options under "Apply rules"
("selected messages" and "all messages"), and they seem to do nothing at all.
No messages get moved.
I have found a few old discussions here that touch on this, but can I confirm
that this function is truly broken — or am I missing something?
