Yes, but that approach is subject to easy spoofing of the authorized
sender addresses which are well known as long as the list is not anonymous.

For Mailman 2.1, moderating everyone and posting with an Approved:
header/pseudo-header, while problematic because of sending a password in
clear text, is still the best way.
