           Summary: GTK-specific problems with encodings
           Product: Mahogany
           Version: from CVS
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Message viewer
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If message subject or some other header has non UTF-8 encoding, when replying I
get "Failed to set text in the text control", and the Subject is empty. But the
message contents are OK, but still I have to manually set UTF-8 in Language menu
(otherwise UTF-8 message is sent as having some other (incorrect) encoding).

If I select some part of non UTF-8 message body and reply (so that only selected
text is in reply), the contents in the editor are incorrect.
