In this case it doesn't work. A debug build would allow me to generate
a stack trace in either gdb for Cygwin, or Visual Studio (take your
pick). With such a trace, and the appropriate code checked out, it
would probably take less than half an hour for me to identify the
problem and suggest a fix.
Without a debug build I am stuffed.
For the last three months or so I have been putting up with Mahogany
crashing on an extremely frequent basis. I have to run Outlook and
manually deal with the problem email. It is a nuisance. If I didn't
hate Outlook so much, I would have allowed my IT manager to convince me
to use that instead.
