Not so sure... I like that the selected message is not on the edge of
the listing, whatever the way I get to this message (opening the folder,
going to net unread, or scrolling into the message list).

One problem, though, is that when e.g. you scroll in the list, the
selection stays on the edge you stop crolling, at which time the
corresponding message is displayed and the list is scrolled so that the
selected message is 'more in the middle'. Not very nice...

The correct feature would be that widget makes sure that the selection
is always n items over or under the edge, even when scrolling, provided
there are enough items. But I fear this would mean re-implementing those
widgets for all platforms that do not already provide the feature...
