One problem, though, is that when e.g. you scroll in the list, the selection stays on the edge you stop crolling, at which time the corresponding message is displayed and the list is scrolled so that the selected message is 'more in the middle'. Not very nice... The correct feature would be that widget makes sure that the selection is always n items over or under the edge, even when scrolling, provided there are enough items.
