Hi all,

I discovered Mahogany some days ago in my search for an outlook
replacement. It seems to have all the features I was looking for and it
uses wxWindows which I also discovered recently. I'm a free lance
programmer (florian informatique is the name of the company hence the
florian.fr domain ;-) specialized in CAD for the lace industry. I wrote
a test program last month using wxWindows to check if my next
developments could run on both Windows and Linux and I'm now confident
that it is possible.
I checked out Mahogany CVS version yesterday and I found the existing
french translation was not working at all (minor header format bug in
the fr.po file). I corrected that, but many, many strings are not
translated and I would be glad to help. What should I do next? Is anyone
already working on this translation? Is everyone allowed to commit the
'fr.po' file on the sourceforge server?
Translation will be my first step. Once I get more accustomed to
wxWindows and Mahogany, I might also help with bugs and development.
Kind regards
--
