The thing is, as the note of FatELF says themselves, that it will require more space (to download & store), meaning you're pretty much no better off than having downloaded it twice in the first place. And again, considering that (for the *end user*, not people on this list..) this is probably not going to be such a common use case - that increased size is probably too much cost for little gain.
