Apologies if this has been asked / answered before (I can't find an answer in
the archives, but that may just mean I'm not searching right).

What's the best way to get my upstart job definition files installed in the
right place when a package is installed? The debian directory has an init.d
file that gets put in the right place, but no obvious file for upstart files.

Is there a mechanism that will put it where it needs to go, or do I need to
write it from postinstall?

I'd like to get this right, preferably first time...

Thanks
