To continue the analogy, for most people, a Porsche is going to be a waste. They wont be able to drive it well (heck, depending on the Porsche, they may not even be able to drive it _safely_), they wont appreciate it and it doesn't help them get from point A to point B any better than the apple cart (or, more appropriately, the Toyota). It does, however, suck up money and space.
